The usual sources, besides any listserv doc itself:

1. e-mail listserv@bitnic (@bitnic.educom.edu)

    get listserv tips

2. e-mail listserv@ubvm (@ubvm.cc.buffalo.edu)

    ind lsvowner

3. use ldbase to search the notebook archives of lstown-l and lstsrv-l
on searn (@searn.sunet.se) or sometimes help-net at templevm
    (vm.temple.edu)

Basically you issue a "LISTSERV GET list-name (HEADER" to get just
the header info. This locks the list from further activity. RECEIVE
it. Update the headers. Save it. Then LSVPUT it back to LISTSERV
(which if it works, unlocks the list).

List-owner initiated subscription service is done by ADD and DEL.
