>I just started running into a problem with messages I >post to my list being rejected because Listserv claims >they were already posted. According to the message >I receive for each posting, listserv tells me that >because it appears to be the same as a message which >was previously posted, it has rejected the message. >Any ideas what could be going wrong? This problem >is new to me. My list is having a similar problem. Except that the message *does* get posted, and sometime later the original poster receives the 'rejected because it's a duplicate' message. I'm also getting a spate of longtime subscribers suddenly finding that the listserv doesn't recognize them. Invariably, they originally subbed as Bitnet addresses and now usually appear to be Internet, but the Brown listserv has never had a problem making that translation before. My 'solution' has been to add their Internet addresses, set nomail, but that's rather unsatisfying. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- neal [log in to unmask] 412-624-0097 (office) [log in to unmask] 412-624-7397 (fax) Owner: STATLG-L "Baseball (and Lesser Sports) Discussion List"
