> This was happening to my list, too, but I think I found the source >of the problem (at least for my list). WMST-L has two subscribers from >SAUNIX.SAU.EDU, wherever that is (I couldn't find it), and it appears that >the SAUNIX mail system is/was malfunctioning. Messages sent from WMST-L >to those subscribers would be sent back to the list; the LISTSERV software Yes, I too have a pair of saunix.sau.edu subscribers. They've been on the list since early February, but no problems appeared until the past week or so. Interestingly, this morning I found quite a few bounce messages from their mailer-daemon, all for messages sent *after* the duplication problem occurred. Also interestingly, when I fingered those two addresses, the information for both included the statement "Never logged in." I'm going to set them nomail and see if anybody notices. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- neal [log in to unmask] 412-624-0097 (office) [log in to unmask] 412-624-7397 (fax) Owner: STATLG-L "Baseball (and Lesser Sports) Discussion List"
