Looking at the last two IDs above, I would use the single entry:

            *@*PERICLES.COM

rather than those two IDs.

P.S. Has anybody **SUCCESSFULLY** "ping"-ed the host 'PERICLES.COM' ???
All I get is "host unreachable" from the nearest NSFNET gateway.
To me, that implies that IP packets cannot be routed to the host,
i.e., the host's IP-address is known, but it's totally inaccessible.

P.P.S. Can we terminate this discussion, until they *do* post something?
All this chatter is worse than any as-yet-imaginary offense. :-(
