Though albion.edu is a valid e-mail host, it is NOT telnet/ftp accessible i.e., it is MXed to another host. It can not be implied that bitnode == bitnode.edu e.g., there is NO psuvm.edu. Depending upon how you did your nameserver lookup, it might "fail." There is a document called LEAVING BITNET NETINFO stored on [log in to unmask] /P
