I have seen variations to this on this list in the past, but not with this twist... I run a pair of lists WOODWORK and WOODWEEK. Woodwork is a "MAIL" list with a "DIGEST" option. WOODWEEK is a list that is edited, and receives a series of "digests" (not Eric's) that I produce with some local software (guess this) once per week. Well the local software is having some problems, and I am not able to spend the time to fix the problems, so I am suspending the weekly version. What I want to do is GET the subscription file, and change all of the subscriptions from "MAIL" to "DIGEST" (Eric's this time) and drop any subscribers that are set to "NOMAIL". How do I go about changing the subscription options? Do I need to lock the list and send out "FOR UserId@Node SHOW WOODWEEK" and trap the output so I can add them to WOODWORK with the correct options? Or is there a simple way of doing all of this?
