*** Resending note of 11/25/94 09:52 Do I need to have some kind of file available to either Mailer (Crosswell Maile r 2.10) or Listserv (1.8a) that equates owner-list to the primary owner of the list so that the first part of the note below doesn't appear and so that one can send mail directly to [log in to unmask] if so desired? I have owner- and -request set up in Mailer's config. Also, do owners live with multiple errors per post regarding not being able to reach a host or host unknown (when we know it's known) or unable to find A rcds for MX site? If not, where do we start looking to solve these problems at our end? The name server we use is controlled by PSI at the present. >Received: by SED (Mailer R2.10 ptf000) id 9410; Fri, 25 Nov 94 09:52:50 EST >ReSent-Date: Fri, 25 Nov 94 09:52:48 EST >ReSent-From: Network Mailer <MAILER@SED> >ReSent-To: GFIERO >X-Delivery-Notice: SMTP MAIL FROM does not correspond to sender. >Received: from SED (SMTP) by SED.BITNET (Mailer R2.10 ptf000) with BSMTP id > 9407; Fri, 25 Nov 94 09:52:48 EST >Received: from SED.BITNET by VM1.NYSED.GOV (IBM VM SMTP V2R2) > with BSMTP id 6721; Fri, 25 Nov 94 09:52:45 EST >Received: from VM1.NYSED.GOV by SED.BITNET (Mailer R2.10 ptf000) with BSMTP id > 9400; Fri, 25 Nov 94 09:52:43 EST >Date: Fri, 25 Nov 1994 09:52:42 -0500 >From: BITNET list server at SED (1.8a) <[log in to unmask]> >Subject: NYLINE: error report from VM1.NYSED.GOV >To: "Andrew Mace, NYLINE listowner" <[log in to unmask]>, > [log in to unmask] >X-LSV-ListID: None > >The enclosed mail file has been identified as a delivery error for list >NYLINE because it was sent to the reserved 'owner-nyline' mailbox. > >---------------------------- Message in error ------------------------------- >X-Delivery-Notice: SMTP MAIL FROM does not correspond to sender. >Received: from SED (SMTP) by SED.BITNET (Mailer R2.10 ptf000) with BSMTP id > 9396; Fri, 25 Nov 94 09:52:42 EST >Date: Fri, 25 Nov 94 09:52:40 EST >From: <[log in to unmask]> >To: <[log in to unmask]> >Subject: Undeliverable Mail > >VM1.NYSED.GOV unable to deliver following mail to recipient(s): > <[log in to unmask]> >VM1.NYSED.GOV unable to connect for 3 days to recipient host. > > ** Text of Mail follows ** >Received: from SED.BITNET by VM1.NYSED.GOV (IBM VM SMTP V2R2) > with BSMTP id 4770; Tue, 22 Nov 94 08:54:22 EST >Received: from VM1.NYSED.GOV by SED.BITNET (Mailer R2.10 ptf000) with BSMTP id > 7983; Tue, 22 Nov 94 08:54:12 EST >Date: Tue, 22 Nov 1994 08:51:06 -0500 >Reply-To: > "NYLINE (New York's libraries information service)" > <[log in to unmask]> >Sender: > "NYLINE (New York's libraries information service)" > <[log in to unmask]> >From: BILL DREW <[log in to unmask]> >Organization: SUNY College of Agriculture & Technology - Morrisville, New York >Subject: FWD: American Library Association plan for $$$$ (fwd) >To: Multiple recipients of list NYLINE <[log in to unmask]> > actual text deleted------------------
