We are having a strange problem with LISTSERV and Microsoft Mail and are wondering if anyone else is seeing it. The problem occurs with an edited list, with the editor being on Microsoft Mail. When a message from a non-editor is sent to the list, it is forwarded to the editor with some explanatory text. These messages get truncated in the body at seemingly random points. No other messages from LISTSERV (or anything else) to Microsoft Mail users get truncated. If the editor is on another mail system, the messages are not truncated. Our current thinking is that is is some sort of weird sensitivity in the Microsoft Mail SMTP gateway to the text that LISTSERV sends, but are at a loss to figure out what that sensitivity might be exactly. As far as we can see, there is nothing unusual in the text (no control characters, for example).
