To be precise, it is sending it to the (indirect) operands of the DB2-L list definition keyword ERRORS-TO=. That keyword has a default of POSTMASTER or OWNERS (depending on which HEADERS keyword document you read) in which case it is sent to all non-quiet owners defined elsewhere, or to your explicit userid operand (is so encoded). There is no law that says that you must send it to you (I have an e-mail/bbs setup to receive the tons that I receive). Or you could specify the operand NONE, which I don't recommend. -- co-owner INFOSYS, TQM-L, CPARK-L, ERAPPA-L, JANITORS, LDBASE-L, et -L [log in to unmask] "Read my BITS" +1 814 863 1843 31 Shields Bldg. -- Penn State Univ -- University Park, PA 16802-1202 USA
