Yes, there's a way to do this. How easy it is is debatable. * Filter= Also,userid1@node1,userid2@node2,userid3@node3,etc As long as you don't delete them from your list, they will remain subscribed and receive mail. But when they try to post, LISTSERV will flag their mail as having come from someone who's been Filtered and send it to the list owner (you) as a regular error message. Once you review it, you'll have to remove their userid@node from the Filter list and then Forward their post to the list. This is relatively easy to do on a VM machine, because we can alter the From: field from LISTSERV to the user's userid@node before we Forward it, delete all the lines of error message text, and restore the original Subject line. I'm not sure how you'd do all that on your Vax. In my opinion, it's more trouble than it's worth. Education is the key here. If you can spare the time, it's probably a better idea to just write to the users with whom you're having a problem and explain to them how to do whatever they're doing wrong. You might find that they appreciate the personal attention and will do what they can to conform to the norms of the group as a result. - Alex, owner of CJUST-L, POLICE-L and SEELANGS ............. .................................. ......................
