I had a piece of strange mail and wanted to locate it in the archives but discovered that in the process of storage, it had been moved to a new earlier date. When I eventually located the mail, I discovered that it had actually been resent and that for some reason our system picked up the second date although yesterday's date appears in the header for the enveloppe sent yesterday. Why and how does listserv choose to read a different date stamp or to store under a different date stamp or is this a function of our system? I thought that storage usually resulted from the first date in the header. -- Paul -- Dr. Paul S. di Virgilio, University of Toronto [log in to unmask]
