Hello Fellow ListOwners, Is there a way where we can set the delivery time-limit for an email message sent to the List? Say 3 days at the most. Com'on 32 days (771hours?) is a very very long time for an e-mail to be kept pending for delivery. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Tue, 23 May 1995 08:28:35 -0400 From: BITNET list server at TEMPLEVM <[log in to unmask]> The enclosed mail file has been identified as a delivery error for list MACCHAT because it was sent to the reserved 'owner-macchat' mailbox. ------------------------------ Message in error ------------------------------- Received: from TEMPLEVM (NJE origin SMTP@TEMPLEVM) by VM.TEMPLE.EDU (LMail V1.2a/1.8a) with BSMTP id 5223; Tue, 23 May 1995 08:28:28 -0400 Received: from pucc.PRINCETON.EDU by VM.TEMPLE.EDU (IBM VM SMTP V2R2) with TCP; Tue, 23 May 95 08:28:27 EDT Received: from disperse.demon.co.uk by pucc.PRINCETON.EDU (IBM VM SMTP V2R2) with TCP; Tue, 23 May 95 08:28:29 EDT Received: from punt.demon.co.uk by disperse.demon.co.uk id ju01500; 23 May 95 10:43 +0100 To: @pucc.princeton.edu:[log in to unmask] Subject: Failed Mail Date: Tue, 23 May 95 5:38:51 +0100 From: [log in to unmask] Sender: [log in to unmask] Message-ID: <[log in to unmask]> After 32 days (771 hours) your message for the site macbig.demon.co.uk has not been delivered.
