IMHO you are wasting time. When I see a series of bounces from the same site I act on the first one and delete the rest unread. If they ARE different, for a different user or any other reason, you can be sure more will arrive tomorrow. >Could someone please explain to the list the proper way for list >owners to sift through error reports so as to waste as little time >as posible and how to deal with each type of error that he finds? I don't think there IS "one right way" to deal with them. And as far as interpreting error messages, that comes with experience. >Do all of you carefully read through every error report that arrives? Nope. >If not, then how do you decide before reading an error report wheather >it is one to discard or a new error you need to read? If it is from the same site, I assume it is the same user, as noted above. cyclops Dan Lester, Network Information Coordinator Albertsons Library, Boise State University, Boise, Idaho 83725 USA [log in to unmask] http://cyclops.idbsu.edu/ How can one fool make another wise?
