Well my attitude to list management, albeit rather drastic is the first sign of mail delivery trouble, especially if repeated more than a couple of times the same day gets the problem address a letter from me asking if they know they have problems and if my letter is returned undeliverable, the subscriber is deleted as soon as i get my letter back marked undeliverable. This is considered drastic by some subscribers and some who have chronic connectivity problems, i just ignore the errors sending to them. I have also discovered one site which sent me a separate message to say my subscribers had received, read and deleted each messge. I asked the postmaster there if they could collect statistics on the user as to their mood and what color tie they wre wearing. The postmaster apologized profusely and throttled his status messages. -- Brian Lingard [log in to unmask]
