A list isn't even a "person" unless you have incorporated or done something of the sort which the courts will recognize. If you want your list to own a share of the copyright, get the list legally recognized, register the list name as a trademark, etc. In other words, check your wallet then go see an attorney who specializes in this stuff. I suggest you take this up with the copyright list ([log in to unmask]), though the last time I checked they were tending to avoid questions like this.
