I receive lots more error messages (digested) than the summary ever includes. Grannybarb >Eric: >No need to get the hackles up. Yes, it appears Kevin missed the error >report. However, his Owner Digest looks like a really good idea. I delete >over 100 messages a day: >LAWSCH-L: error report from AMERICAN.EDU< Check >the email address (it's probably one I've seen before) and delete. Automatic >killfiling doesn't help, since I still have to download them all. >Recently, I had two brushes with mailers that had the retry set for two >weeks (!). Two weeks worth of repeats for a moderate volume list times two. >An owner digest would have meant that the digest I download anyway would >have been just a little longer. > >Again, if you're keeping track, I emphatically vote FOR this type of >capability in a future release of LISTSERV. > >Philo ********************************************************************** Barbara B.
