I've never seen the following message regarding "OK" before. Poking through the release notes, I can't find a description of the "OK" com- mand that seems to apply to this context. The relevant list keywords (the list name is PIPORG-L) are: * Subscription= Open, confirm * Send= Editor,Hold * Files= Yes * Validate= No * Auto-Delete= Yes * Ack= Yes * Digest= Yes,Same,Daily,00:00,Size(1500) * Daily-Threshold= 150 * Errors-To= Owner * Owner= [log in to unmask] (David C Kelzenberg) * Owner= quiet: * Owner= BEC@ALBNYVM1 (Ben Chi) * Editor= [log in to unmask] (David C Kelzenberg) * Editor= (PIPORG-L) * The original sender, [log in to unmask], is not a subscriber under this address (he is as [log in to unmask]). The "Editor=" keyword was introduced at some point in the past to solve a problem whose details I have forgotten. The short message at the beginning "Hi Ben ..." is from the primary list owner to me. /b ----------------------------Original message---------------------------- Return-Path: <@CNSIBM.ALBANY.EDU:[log in to unmask]> Received: from ALBNYVM1 (NJE origin SMTP@ALBNYVM1) by CNSIBM.ALBANY.EDU (LMail V Received: from junk.weeg.uiowa.edu by CNSIBM.ALBANY.EDU (IBM VM SMTP V2R2) with TCP; Sun, 25 Feb 96 19:58:48 EST Received: from black.weeg.uiowa.edu ([log in to unmask] [128.255.56.4]) b Received: by black.weeg.uiowa.edu (8.6.12/client-1.3) id SAA108811; Sun, 25 Feb 1996 18:57:19 -0600 Date: Sun, 25 Feb 1996 18:57:19 -0600 (CST) From: "D. Please refer to the list owner's guide if you are not familiar with the "OK" mechanism; these instructions are being kept purposefully short for your convenience in processing large numbers of messages. ------------------------ Original message (38 lines) -------------------------- Return-Path: <@CNSIBM.ALBANY.EDU:[log in to unmask]> Received: from ALBNYVM1 (NJE origin SMTP@ALBNYVM1) by CNSIBM.ALBANY.EDU (LMail V Received: from ra.isisnet.com by CNSIBM.ALBANY.EDU (IBM VM SMTP V2R2) with TCP; Sun, 25 Feb 96 14:29:21 EST Received: from three-elms.isisnet.com by ra.isisnet.com (8.6.8.1/SMI-SVR4) id PAA11054; Sun, 25 Feb 1996 15:28:06 -0400 Received: (from hclsmith@localhost) by three-elms (8.6.9/8.6.9) id QAA00402; Sat Date: Sat, 24 Feb 1996 16:40:06 -0400 From: Hume Smith <[log in to unmask]> subject: recordings with "authentic" tunings sender: hcls <[log in to unmask]> to: [log in to unmask] reply-to: hcls <[log in to unmask]> message-id: <[log in to unmask]> x-mailer: unicorn 0.40 (tcl 7.4p2, tk 4.0p2) return-receipt-to: hcls <[log in to unmask]> priority: normal organization: North End TTA Fans and Reed Organ Repairers precedence: normal cc: [log in to unmask], [log in to unmask] whoops - i have a third CD: Louis Couperin OEuvres pour Orgue Jan Willem Jansen ` l'Orgue historique de l'Abbaye de Saint-Michel en Thiirache )1994 Fnac Music Production - Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles - RMN #592291 "the temperament chosen is that suggested by Lambert Chaumont in his Pihces d'orgue of 1695 (six pure thirds and two impure fifths)." -- Hume Smith <[log in to unmask]> Keyboard initialisation failed.
