Perhaps we just need Send=Private so that we only get spammed by
people who legitimately subscribe to the list.

   Maybe if LSTSRV-L  was semi-moderated, we wouldn't have  to deal with
spams on this list.  Haven't I said this before?  Definite echo.
 
   Can we assume that Listserv maintainers would know how to deal with a
semi-moderated list?
 
   How about LSTOWN-L as well ... ?
