Kathy The NOPOST option allows you to set some subscribers to a status where they can read only but not to POST. REVIEW is a sort of half-way house to POST. It is appropriate for non-moderated lists (as, by definition, all messages sent to a moderated list, are reviewed before being distributed.) REVIEW allows a subscriber to POST but all postings are sent to the listowner (or whomever is designated as Editor in the header) for approval before being distributed. Thus you can determine whether or not to allow the distribution of each message that subscriber attempts to post. On Autocat we have REVIEW as the default for all new subscribers. Once they have posted once and we see that the message is within scope and generally appropriate we change that subscribers option to NOREVIEW. However, we retain the right to set anyone to REVIEW at any time if they have started to post messages we consider questionable.
