Help! A forged posting bounced into my mailbox (Thank God it didn't go to the list). It is definitely forged, as no one by that name is at [log in to unmask] "Robert Cavelier" is the explorer LaSalle's first name (someone is being cute). One of the headers gives a message id of ix.netcom.com. Normally, I would not be so disturbed by this post, but it is extremely nasty, and full of libel. The poster is trying to ruin the reputation of a very fine person, and I want this poster stopped now. Can anyone tell me what I should do? Thanks. > >------------------------ Message in error (56 lines) -------------------------- >Return-Path: <[log in to unmask]> >Received: from ASUACAD (NJE origin SMTP2@ASUACAD) by ASUVM.INRE.ASU.EDU (LMail V1.2a/1.8a) with BSMTP id 8869; Sun, 27 Oct 1996 20:11:27 -0700 >Received: from dfw-ix7.ix.netcom.com by ASUVM.INRE.ASU.EDU (IBM VM SMTP V2R3) > with TCP; Sun, 27 Oct 96 20:11:06 MST >Received: from REX.ix.netcom.com (aus-tx14-24.ix.netcom.com [205.186.172.152]) by dfw-ix7.ix.netcom.com (8.6.13/8.6.12) with ESMTP id TAA25248 for <[log in to unmask]>; Sun, 27 Oct 1996 19:14:47 -0800 >Message-Id: <[log in to unmask]> >From: "Robert Cavelier" <[log in to unmask]> >To: "Underwater Archaeology Discussion List" <[log in to unmask]> >Subject: Re: Why was J.
