Another problem is you are too nice to your list members. Subscribers who leave a full mailbox, causing bounces, should automatically be set to digest or index by you as list owner. That will cut down on the number of error msgs coming back to you, to one per day for each bounce, from one per msg all day long. If it bouces again you are faced with the choice to either set them to NOMAIL or simply delete them. I suggest you leave your setting at Full-Auto until you clean out some of the 'dead-wood' members of your list. Then be agressive in setting others who bounce for 'mailbox full' reasons to NOMAIL. Unfortunately you have to keep a log of these and give them a week or 2 to come back and clean up their mess. If they don't then just delete them. I know this sounds harsh but maillist subscription implies some responsibility in receiving the mail that has been requested. If people haven't the courtesy (or knowledge) to read their mail, they shouldn't be on a maillist. You should have no qualms about booting them off. -- ________________________________________________________________________ Ben Parker ............ (Oak Park IL) .......... [log in to unmask]
