I guess the "spamoramma" on L-Soft pretty much details it. I have had success by reporting to [log in to unmask] and "abuse" at the same domain. Writing a message stating that this type of messages are unwanted. That will do whatever in your power to advise people not be involved in any way with the spammer ... That is your time you aare giving doing that ... Delete and move on... And instruct every one you know to do that and they will change their techiniques will focused and short e-mail notice giving info on how to get the document explaining the product/scheme/service. They thrive on responses so if they send a few zillions messages and receive no or very responses that does not cover the e-mail database maintenance and Internet conncetion cost it *WILL* fade away... (Dreamer, nothing but a dreamer... -Supertramp") Actions: Delete, Messages, Unsub, filter them out Set Send=Private, Review=Private Stat=Private Moderate lists, Set sub=By owner Since finally the AOL thing settled that filtering mass e-mail is *not* a free speech infringement the next logical step will be extension of the 500$ a fax to 500$ an un-wanted e-mail (the 500$ is damages that can be asked in civil court)... One "smarty" started a new trend: You make a post that looks like a freelance proofreader acknowledgement of chargeable proof reading (with totally bogus info) stating "this auto-billing confidential e-mail reserved to our trusty customers"... If the trends picks up it can scare the sh*t out those who picked up "1001 ways to make money on the Internet" at their local discount store... Issuing phoney death treats to spammers is *not* a thing to do: FBI does investigate those in case of the spammer sudden demise ... (Or so they say) AAAAAAARRRGH! RUN EVERYONE I am now possessed! I have *STARTED* a spam thread... Quick! Plunge a wooden stake in my heart! Hit me with a Cross, shoot me with garlic sprayed silver bullet expose me the sun (without Blue-Blockers)... Oh! No I will be condemned to wear sandal, bermudas and loud hawaiin shirts making info-mercial for eternity... Eric /"$?ij_?|?nb(*y"$io <- That is my head hitting the keyboard as I faint... (sorry for the annoyance, but I feel much better now)...
