For example, I handle my list from a UNIX shell account. As soon as I discovered procmail, I started directing all the bounces into a folder of their own. This works just as well as a separate account. And if *I* go away for a week, I can just have it discard them for that period (unless someone else wants to volunteer to be a temporary owner, in which case I can add them quiet and forward the bounces in my absence). Other mailers such as Eudora have filtering capabilities (less powerful, perhaps, but adequate for this purpose) which can pre-sort mail into folders based on sender, subject, etc. Cheers, Stan Ryckman ([log in to unmask])
