Good point to remember.  I have never done it where the domain change
was needed, so I'm glad to know this.
 
Also a good reminder to be careful of upper- and lower-case letters,
although I have noticed that someone I subscribe in lowercase gets
converted by my server to upper-case automatically-- e.g., I sign up
[log in to unmask], who then gets listed as JOESCHMOE@AOLCOM somehow.
Not that it really matters, it's just that any of his postings would
appear that way.
