I get a wierd error message whenever someone sends email to listname-request on a list I own. I get their message just fine, but Listserv (Solaris 1.8c) also sends me a note complaining that it couldn't send the sender back it's standard message. Specifically, listserv seems to be trying to interpret their address as a Bitnet address, but I can't see where it's thinking that. Included below is a message that person sent directly to me: -------------- cut orignal headers here-------------- Return-Path: <[log in to unmask]> Received: from TAMVM1 (NJE origin SMTPG@TAMVM1) by TAMVM1.TAMU.EDU (LMail V1.2a/1.8a) with BSMTP id 4780; Tue, 25 Feb 1997 19:53:28 -0600 Received: from mercury.tamu.edu by tamvm1.tamu.edu (IBM VM SMTP V2R2) with TCP; Tue, 25 Feb 97 19:53:27 CST Received: by mercury.tamu.edu (NX5.67d/NX3.0S) id AA23426; Tue, 25 Feb 97 19:44:25 -0600 Date: Tue, 25 Feb 1997 19:44:24 -0600 (CST) From: Dalene <[log in to unmask]> To: [log in to unmask] Subject: test 3 Message-Id: <Pine.NXT.3.90.970225194418.23422A-100000@mercury> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII --------------- end their headers ------------------- Specifically, Listserv is trying to send email back to [log in to unmask] Any idea why it's trying to do that?
