I am putting together a list resources page on my Internet site at 'http://www.mishmash.com'. I have not decided what name to give the page as yet and am open to any suggestions someone might have. It should be something attention getting, if possible. At present, I am going to put it on 'http://www.mishmash.com/lists' but could easily change the subname once I give it a permanent name. There is nothing created there as yet but there should be soon. This seems to be a very good place to request the type of information I am looking for, so I'll ask here. 'Brainstorming' is what I am after, so don't worry about whether or not your idea is too conservative or too extreme. I want to hear it anyway. I am looking for links to: I. ISPs that provide listserv, majordomo, listproc, and any other type of lists. II. Sites that have good information about *running* lists including: a. Good operating practices. b. Specific information about the different types (listserv, majordomo, etc.). c. Other information relevant to operating a list. III. Sites that publicize the existence of lists (such as http://www.liszt.com). IV. Other suggestions and ideas you may have. Basically, this is to be the means by which someone can start from scratch in planninng, setting up, and implementing a mailing list. It should also have links to resources for helping to manage and publicize their new list. Thanks for any information/links you can give me.
