(No offence taken, even if you meant it.) I'm a list owner, not a site manager. There is a sort of consensus on my list that we want to split into two lists with two different focuses (one to play games, one to discuss games, both related to TV game shows, in case you care), and we want to pick a name for the new list. While I get the last word, I don't care to dominate the process. My plan is to "clone" an exact copy of the existing list, with a new name, and let people change their options from there. As list owner, I wanted to avoid having people discuss any potential new list names that would be illegal anyway. Does this make sense now? Now, this seems to me like a pure list-owner issue. Are you saying all list owners should get the site manager's manual? Not that I mind, but could you at least provide a URL or (preferably) a filename-request- command that I could use to get an ASCII version? My site is 1.8c, so if there are multiple versions, that's the one I should retrieve I think. But frankly, my guess is that this will not be a terribly useful manual to us listowners in general, and that some tidbits (such as those I requested) maybe should just be moved (or copied) to the manual for list owners. Thanks, Stan
