If LISTSERV says it's a duplicate, I'd have absolutely no doubt that it's a
duplicate.  The first one is distributed to the list, the second duplicate
message is sent to you as an error.

The most likely cause of this is a mistyped ADD command which ended up
adding the list to itself.  So if the list is subscribed to the list, the
list will receive a copy of anything posted to the list and thus generate
a complain about duplicate mail.  (Yeah, that sure is hard to explain in
clear English -- sorry!)
