Hi again. Has anyone else ever received one of these "mimesweeper" reports as an error message to the listowner's mailbox? A hwy61-l subscriber's account bounced this back - 2nd time in 2 days ... I've written him and asked him to disable it or to ask his employer/ISP to disable it. He tells me that it can't be done and that I should delete him if I can't handle it(!) (talk about hostile!) Anyone dealt with people bouncing these back before? Is it possible that a note to the postmaster could be worth it? (I've deleted a lot of it. The thing is huge, and includes the entire digest too of course). So... here's the edited version. :-) George LeBlanc sitting in for Maureen HWY61-L >------------------------------ Message in error ------------------------------- >Received: (qmail 17098 invoked by alias); 14 Aug 1997 16:44:48 -0000 >Received: (qmail 15592 invoked from network); 14 Aug 1997 16:40:12 -0000 >Received: from aero.snds.com (198.81.195.2) > by listserv.acsu.buffalo.edu with SMTP; 14 Aug 1997 16:40:12 -0000 >Received: by aero.snds.com id AA04811 > (InterLock SMTP Gateway 3.0 for [log in to unmask]); > Thu, 14 Aug 1997 11:40:07 -0500 >Message-Id: <[log in to unmask]> >Subject: Your message was not delivered. >From: [log in to unmask] >To: [log in to unmask] >Date: 14 Aug 1997 11:40: 8 >Mime-Version: 1.0 >Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="35654.42008.120" > >--35654.42008.120 >Content-Type: text/plain > >Your message entitled > > %SUBJECT% > >could not be delivered because it may contain >offensive and/or unprofessional material. > >This may be due to the particular content of the message >including offensive or foul language. >--35654.42008.120 >Content-Type: text/plain; name="logfile.txt" >Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="logfile.txt" > >11:39:55 (LOG:001) Log file opened on 14-Aug-1997 >11:39:55 (MSW:001) Created by MIMEsweeper Version 2.4_3.8 >11:39:55 (MSW:001) Reading message from post office "SMTP" >11:39:55 (MSW:002) Contents of "Received message" >11:39:55 (MSW:002) From = "[log in to unmask] >snds.com" >11:39:55 (MSW:002) BCC = "[log in to unmask]" >11:39:55 (MSW:002) RCPMESSAGEID = " <[log in to unmask]>" >11:39:55 (MSW:002) RECEIVED = " from aero.snds.com (151.131.40.12) by >mccoy.rkd.snds.com" >11:39:55 (MSW:002) RECEIVED = " from deliverance.acsu.buffalo.edu by >aero.snds.com with SMTP id AA04656" >11:39:55 (MSW:002) MESSAGEID = " <[log in to unmask]>" >11:39:55 (MSW:002) RECEIVED = " (qmail 15395 invoked from network); 14 Aug >1997 >16:39:13 -0000" >11:39:55 (MSW:002) RECEIVED = " from listserv.acsu.buffalo.edu >(128.205.7.35)" 11:39:55 (MSW:002) SENTDATE = " Thu, 14 Aug 1997 >12:39:07 -0400" 11:39:55 (MSW:002) REPLY_TO = >" The Bob Dylan Discussion List > ><[log in to unmask]>" >11:39:55 (MSW:002) SENDER = " The Bob Dylan Discussion List ><[log in to unmask]>" >11:39:55 (MSW:002) FROM = " Automatic digest processor ><[log in to unmask]>" >11:39:55 (MSW:002) SUBJECT = " HWY61-L Digest - 13 Aug 1997 to 14 Aug 1997 >- Special issue" >11:39:55 (MSW:002) TO = " Recipients of HWY61-L digests ><[log in to unmask]>" >11:39:55 (MSW:001) Received message, From Address >"[log in to unmask]", >To address "[log in to unmask]", Message Subject " >HWY61-L Digest - 13 Aug 1997 to 14 Aug 1997 - Special issue" >11:39:55 (MSW:002) Starting container analysis phase >11:39:55 (MSW:003) Body attributes etc. etc. -- it goes on and on and on this way ... until ... >11:40:07 (MSW:002) Quarantine disposal >11:40:07 (MSW:001) Message quarantined as entry "A0000155". >11:40:07 (MSW:002) Quarantine disposal end >11:40:07 (MSW:002) Inform disposal "BlockSender" >11:40:08 (MSW:002) Contents of "Inform Message" >11:40:08 (MSW:002) From = "[log in to unmask]" >11:40:08 (MSW:002) To = "[log in to unmask]" >11:40:08 (MSW:002) SUBJECT = "Your message was not delivered." >11:40:08 (MSW:001) Inform Message, From Address >"[log in to unmask]", >To address "[log in to unmask]", Message Subject >"Your message was not delivered." >--35654.42008.120 >Content-Type: text/plain; name="body.txt" >Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="body.txt" > >There are 30 messages totalling 1102 lines in this issue. > >Topics in this special issue: [everything else deleted...]
