I've received two of these today -- the first had return-path to [log in to unmask]; the second is as I've copied below. Curious if anybody else on this list has gotten one. I haven't sent anything to the aol address listed because I'm not sure that's not someone who's been set up; I haven't written Samsung for the same reason. Do I write netcom, or just see how this thing plays out? anybody got any answers, or have I missed some posts? I am, of course, assuming this either is Samsung responding to a SPAM and getting the SPAMmees instead of the SPAMmers, or it's a full-fledged creative SPAM in an effort to create a mailbombing. It's a beaut. But it could get annoying. -- Mary ------forwarded message--------- Return-Path: <[log in to unmask]> Received: from web1.asia1.com.sg (web1.asia1.com.sg [203.116.23.60]) by ixmail7.ix.netcom.com (8.7.5/SMI-4.1/Netcom) id MAA18584; Sat, 9 Aug 1997 12:57:02 -0700 (PDT) From: [log in to unmask] Received: from web1.asia1.com.sg (1Cust19.max42.los-angeles.ca.ms.uu.net [153.34.91.19]) by web1.asia1.com.sg (8.8.5/8.8.5) with SMTP id DAA24963; Sun, 10 Aug 1997 03:54:54 +0800 (SGT) Received: from mips-1.sailahead.com (mips-1.sailahead.com [199.107.95.10]) by sailahead.com (8.8.5/8.6.5) with SMTP id GAA08906 for <[log in to unmask]>; Sat, 09 Aug 1997 10:47:21 -0600 (EST) Date: Sat, 09 Aug 97 10:47:21 EST To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Cease And Desist Flaming Message-ID: <[log in to unmask]> Reply-To: [log in to unmask] X-PMFLAGS: 34666848 0 X-UIDL: 3273376668a65eb1890m0762123a Comments: Authenticated sender is <[log in to unmask]> X-Mozilla-Status: 0001 On behalf of our client, Samsung America Inc., ("Samsung") we hereby request that you cease and desist all inflammatory internet hacking, telephone hacking, flaming, jamming, and other illegal activities.
