Owner is separate from Editor. Mail sent for review will be sent either to the first Editor, or to the Moderator(s) if the Moderator keyword is defined. Send= Editor Editor= [log in to unmask],(LISTNAME) is essentially the equivalent of just setting all subscribers to EDITOR, but in the case of setting everybody to EDITOR, you're making an exception of everyone except those on review, whereas with the above, the ones on REVIEW are the exceptions. It's a case of what is easier to maintain and less easy to make mistakes with, as a human administrator. > I'm thinking of using the > set listname review for user@node command > now, instead of the nopost option. and that > should work since I'm listed as first Owner= > but what if my list COowner wants to set someone > to review? Is that possible. or would the > posts by default come to me for review? Any owner can change the settings for a subscriber. The posts will come to the first Editor for review, unless you define a Moderator. On my list, where I share the moderation with my co-owner, I have Moderator=All,her@addr,my@addr Posts from subscribers on REVIEW go to both of us, so that they get approved as soon as possible (whichever one of us notices it first approves it). If you prefer a round-robin kind of approval, get rid of "All". Francoise
