Just when I thought I had seen everything... Yesterday I got a message from Listserv saying that one of our lists was served off due to the 50 command limit. I've never seen this before, so I did some checking of the list and I noticed that each mail sent to the list was followed in the archives by the same mail, only it was sent to LISTSERV. LISTSERV replied to the list with the usual error, the first word of each line of the mail was followed by the "command unknown, try help" messsages. I checked the headers of this mail sent to owner-listserv and found one e-mail address in all of them: [log in to unmask] up in the headers of the mail. So, I deleted the subscriber because it "looked" like any mail sent to his e-mail address was "bounced" to [log in to unmask] I thought this because I sent him personal mail telling him why, and that also bounced to listserv. [log in to unmask] just sends an automatic reply. I thought the problem was solved, but I received the following mail and also served out the list below. That same e-mail address is in the headers of this mail but to another list at listserv@asuvm I sent mail yesterday to the listowners but received no reply. I suspect that this same person is subscribed to a list at Arizona State and all mail from that list is being bounced to listserv here. It sounds logical, but not probable. Has anyone else seen this or something like this? I'd hate to think that every list this fellow is on and all personal mail is going to listserv@post, it doesn't make sense why someone would do that or even think of it.
