Oh for heavens' sake. Email discussion lists are entertainment. Is it illegal to watch Ellen in Mississippi? Was anyone arrested for watching the "coming out" episode anywhere in the country? Conservatives may boycott the advertisers, but it's not illegal to watch the show. And there aren't very many subjects that haven't been on Seinfeld -- and these days the show airs at 7:30 in many localities, in reruns. Can anyone forget the famous "Master of the House" episode? Not to mention "Mulva". (Not to mention it, in fact.) If people haven't been arrested for watching that at 7:30 pm at night, I can't see why they can go arresting people for participating in a discussion list that doesn't go any further than those tv shows. However -- if your list is regularly pretty randy, you might want to do your best to make sure your subscribers are 18 and over. Just from a sense of social responsibility. Mary Schweitzer
