|All this being said (and I also find emails containing html annoying), if |the members of a mailing list agree that it's OK to use it there's no |particular reason why they shouldn't. Like all media, there is a certain amount of bloat. Such bloat might cause secondary discomfort: network bandwidth and mail server slowdowns, disc quota problems, etc. So it is NOT just a simple matter of list-subscriber preferences.
