Now I am concerned. I was under the impression that a letter (no matter
how distributed) always remains the intellectual property of the writer
and may not be published beyond the original "space" (whether e-mail
list or small group of recipients or individual) without the author's
permission. A list message is not automatically in the "public
domain" (though it may be impossible to keep out of mass distribution
and difficult to pursue as a actionable case) and I certainly don't
see myself as "owning" rights to my subscribers' messages.
