AOL service reps acknowledged by direct telephone that their download feature has no way of expanding some digests into full line text format before executing the download command, thus permanently wiping out everything in the received document after the cutoff point determined by the source transmitter. AOL suggests asking Vatican2's list server if the daily digests are also available in an optional full line-by-line text.
