Jim Gerland was Others have addressed this but I have questions. You use ONLY [log in to unmask] address for access to your account? That is the address you use for both lists in your list headers ( at a cursory glance that's what I see in the headers, but we know what my cursory glances are worth)? However, you do list other addresses. You are getting everything just fine *except* the material for this one list? You ALWAYS access in the same manner? Those other addresses are just aliases? I have had accounts on VM/VMS machines at two sites and I've had that happen to me both places, for those accounts. Did you have a crash of whataever sort (glitz in the phone line will crash your connection)? An inelegant exit may leave a process running, which would mean that you are the person blocking you from getting your mail ("le-e-ts do the time warp agaaiinnn!"). I had that happen to me on two different VM/VMS systems. I also had it happen because, not knowing my way that well around the system, I did something I oughtn't, which I realized immediately but I couldn't figure out how to UNdo it. I've also had it happen on UNIX but there I know what to do, look for the open process and kill it. On VM all I know to do, once I've reached total frustration, is yell for help from the sys. admins. I strongly urge you to contact your people at buffalostate or snybuffaa or what ever it is (I wasn't aware there was more than one state supported university in Buffalo, N.Y.). Your local people should be able to fix it for you (and they may have done it to you themselves, had that happen to me also). I would rather think that, somehow or other, something was left open blocking messages from just this one list than that someone is engaing in deliberate sabotage. Douglas
