I was looking into them, Are they any good? and are they fast? Also I don't care for Majordomo that much, which EsoSoft has. at least they made some modifications to it. I prefer to go month by month till I get a feel for the quility of service, then I will pay anually. I paid 2 year for Flash.net (ISP Dial-up), service was great, Jan 1rst, 1998 service went down hill and still is. Can't conntect (lines are not busy), Routers, and servers going down weekly. Now I am stuck with this mess. I don't want it to happen again. Many people will be leaving Flash.net after their time is up. just read in flashnet.support. If anyone can e-mail me and vouch for EsoSoft, please let me know, the more I ge the better. Thank you for your help, Eric Vogel p.s. Eric Vogel wrote I am looking for a host for a mailing list I run, it currently runs in e-groups (findmail) which has problems, does anyone know of a GOOD hosting service for $50 or less a year?? Users chipped in to pay for it, so I am all set there. Someone posted a web link to a FAQ on a list of services, but not to happy with the providers. Does anyone know of any running ListServ, that is cheap? Also, I run anouther mailing list, Computer Talk Shop, that has a host, but the host is unreliable, and could use a new free home, anyone interested? I have Less than or equal to 240 members. to see what is is about, please goto http://www.flash.net/~ecvogel If someone does, the service most support Digest, I have lost people due to my current host not supporting digest feature. I also ask for a service with stability. The first one handles off-topic discussions, and is just for entertainment (CTS-Personal) and members must be a member of Computer Talk Shop. This keeps the off-topic posts off and makes people happy.
