Hi Trish, What about changing the first program so that it adds the addresses on the lists with the names and addresses visable but the list set to review by owner with a confirm in the validate field. Then if there was a private criteria you could apply that for any other places the address is used? I'm sure you've have reasons for not doing this to start with. Probably changing the procedure is difficult. We set up lists for courses on request and the profs update them or give the instructions to the students in the class. The campus wide list was a political nightmare here so we didn't do it. As soon as it was discussed, everyone and their mother had an urgent need to spam it (sell t-shirts , advertize events, programs, send out questionaires) and I don't know about Queens but McGill has some fairly militant people when it comes to their issues. We were going to give the vice principals control over what would be posted on the school list until they realized they would be in debate after debate. We decided to go the route of web pages - important issues have pointers on the school web page and people can set up and update their own web pages. Personal info for students is still sent by paper. Good luck, robyn
