Last night, my server seemed to stall when I issued a command with the following message: >>> Unable to create SMTP synchronization events <<< The command I had issued was a "quiet del *" for a local user. I'm not sure if this is related, but my server (running on NT 4.0 Server) had been having a clock synchronization problem which is still being tracked down. Basically, it's losing an hour and refuses to remain set to the correct time, regardless of whether I reset it or not. During this problem, I get the following crash report when I shut down the server: 9 Nov 1998 07:16:26 ************************ 9 Nov 1998 07:16:26 *** EXCEPTION RAISED *** 9 Nov 1998 07:16:26 ************************ 9 Nov 1998 07:16:26 9 Nov 1998 07:16:26 *** Code=C0000005, flags=0, addr=776681B2, p1=00000000, p2=776681B2 Are these two problems related? Any ideas as to the problems? Thanks. C. David Young Central Systems Support University Of Texas At Arlington mailto:[log in to unmask] Voice: (817) 272-3666 Fax: (817) 272-5796
