Well, in my experience .gov and .mil addresses are problem causers,
for different reasons. For .gov subscribers I have sometimes told
them to send their items direct to me as listserv will not accept it
as send (often it is cc:mail, sometimes Group_Wise, sometimes home
grown). I do that as it is more effecient to rewrite the headers
of the postings than carry on a protracted argument with the "postmaster"
about what is wrong with their system. Douglas

I can vouchsafe the problems with cc:Mail for my department anyway.. but what I
found that was far easier for list owners to do was simply unsubscribe the
people concerned and let them subscribe again from cc:Mail... this tends to fix
the majority of the problems related to cc:Mail and lists of any sort and is
far less work for the list owner..

As for cc:Mail..... there is not much we can do about it from this end.... we
cant edit the source code for it even if they let us in there....
