I have been quiet deleting them on first bounce all along. The 'quiet' so they would not get a message that I had deleted them, which invariably gets complaints - meaning more mail because of AOL. I was looking for an even easier method thru the auto-delete line, but I guess I will have to go back to doing them by hand again. With the auto-delete, they sign right back on after emptying their mailboxes, so it tends to be a big circle. Wish I could break it somewhere. jcl At 02:08 PM 1/25/99 -0500, Pete Weiss wrote: >At 13:59 01/25/1999 -0500, you wrote: > >|What you can do in the meantime is get in the habit of setting >|susbcribers to DIGEST as soon as they stop bouncing, so that you only >|get one (or a few) bounce per day instead of 100, or even to NOMAIL -- >|when they get their address fixed, they'll get in touch with you, hopefully.
