People, Running a 1.8d LISTSERV on Windows NT 4.0 Intel. I need to shutdown and restart the lists machine due to the Keywords file of one of our lists being cached. (NB LSoft people - can this be fixed as a top priority? It's stupid to have a cached version out of date!) I'd like to do it from here rather than have to drive twenty or thirty KM and do the bounce manually (server is not reachable via standard NT server controls for security reasons). Now, the "SHUTDOWN" command says it stops LISTSERV, but it doesn't say if it then starts it again. I can see the usefulness of a stop-only SHUTDOWN command, but can I use the "SHUTDOWN REBOOT" command that seems to be VM only? Or is it into the car for me? Thanks in advance, Paul Wayper
