I wish there were a way LISTSERV could avoid doing this, but since there's not, I also wish the notification to the listowner could be sent with an identifying subject line that would distinguish it clearly from other errors; I filter error messages and often let them accumulate in a folder because most of them require no action. I suspect this has happened a number of times to my subscribers: > My post disappeared without > a trace, and all the others I sent went through. It was very > disorienting, but fortunately after I remembered something about this > happening to someone else, I looked at the headers I had included and > realized what had happened. My listowner claimed she never even saw > it. She must not have noticed it in with all the other bounces. Probably so: it certainly happens to me, and my lists are not very big. -- Russ __|~_ Russell A.
