A Pegasus Mail user pointed out to me that WinPMail had problems opening a message received from a Listserv list. A portion of the message's headers have been included below. I have determined that splitting the boundary= string across two lines affects WinPMail's parser; what I am trying to determine now is who caused the Content- Type line to be wrapped. I very much suspect the version of MS Exchange that produced the message, but I know that Listserv wraps long body lines. Can someone confirm that Listserv _never_ wraps header lines? Thanks. ---begin--- Received: by Exceed-NYC-78.90.exceedcommerce.com with Internet Mail Service (5.5.1960.3) id <MCGZ5KJ2>; Tue, 1 Jun 1999 10:22:20 -0400 MIME-Version: 1.0 X-Mailer: Internet Mail Service (5.5.1960.3) Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="---- =_NextPart_001_01BEAC3A.28783600" Message-ID: <[log in to unmask]> Date: Tue, 1 Jun 1999 10:22:19 -0400 Reply-To: Microsoft Visual C++ programmers list <[log in to unmask]> Sender: Microsoft Visual C++ programmers list <[log in to unmask]> ---end--- Andrew. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Andrew Morrow home:[log in to unmask] office:[log in to unmask] Member of the Pegasus Mail Support Group List owner of the PMAIL, PM-WIN, PM-DOS, PM-MAC and MERCURY lists
