I believe it will track subscribers and ex-subscribers e.g., if
auto-delete removes a subscriber, yet now (ex-subscriber) continues to
bounce (even though no NEW list mail is being generated), then the DEMR
will continue to track them.  That's good or bad, depending on your
perspective.  It is certainly good not to receive it in the * ERRORS-TO:
bounce address, likewise it is good that the owner know that there are
still bounces occurring, using up computer and network resources.  I
guess it is bad that the owner is still "bothered" with dealing with
previously "handled" problems.  Of course if the ex-subscriber
resubscribes, and the bounces are still queued up from the previous
problem, it is possible that they will be auto-deleted AGAIN.
