Hi, We have a Virus sweeper program which automatically appends a message to the bottom of each email message. The appended message is as follows: ********************************************************************** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed. If you have received this email in error please notify systems administration at [log in to unmask] This footnote also confirms that this email message has been scanned for the presence of commonly detectable virus-types. ********************************************************************** Now, when I try to CREATE a list by submitting an email message, I do: PUT listname LIST PW=XXXXXX <header goes here> <subscriber list goes here> <virus sweeper message winds up here> Listserv is giving the following error error: -> ********************************************************************** Header lines must be grouped at the beginning of the file; they may not be interspersed with recipients. Note that you will get this message if you attempt to update a list you had retrieved via the REVIEW command. You must not do that because the subscribers' options would be lost in the process, and concealed subscribers would be silently removed from the list. Always use the GET command when you plan to update the list. PUT operation rejected, list has not been created. Is there a way around this. I'm sure some people have signature files as well that can be a problem. Thank you. Paul Franco Periphonics Corp.
