This is the important part: >Receiver not found: lilabeans Since CompuServe doesn't bother to give you the entire address (someday maybe they'll install a modern Internet mail system; until then we just have to suffer along), you sort of have to guess at the hostname. In any case issuing the command SCAN ESH lilabeans will probably come up with the correct address to delete ("Receiver not found" is the same thing as "No such user"). My guess is that the address you are looking for is [log in to unmask], that being the hostname I've had to use lately to delete CompuServe users instead of the more intuitive COMPUSERVE.COM that they used to use. Ah, yes, indeed, looking further down the headers I see: >Received: from maelstrom.stjohns.edu (maelstrom.stjohns.edu [149.68.1.24]) > by hpamgaac.compuserve.com >(8.8.8/8.8.8/HP-1.8) with ESMTP id FAA16753 > for <[log in to unmask]>; >Mon, 2 Aug 1999 05:18:40 -0400 (EDT) Sometimes you have to look a bit further down in the headers to find the right address, for instance if the mail was forwarded to the Compuserve account by some other mailbox, ie, an INAME.COM redirect or a redistribution list. That doesn't appear to be the case here but it's something you have to look out for. Anyway the point is that you need to delete this user [log in to unmask] from your list and the errors should stop. Nathan
