This is probably just a coincidence. The @@ implies a bad sendmail rewrite rule. This is normally only a problem with really old sendmails (8.6 or earlier) and affects only mail with MAIL FROM:<> (ie a null RFC821 MAIL FROM line). See http://www.lsoft.com/manuals/lsv-faq.stm#5.5 which discusses something similar. At any rate I doubt seriously that it has anything to do with adding the second card.
