I've just added over 100,000 users to a list using this command:
ADD freebeeb DD=ddname IMPORT PW=bbcliveput
//ddname DD *
[log in to unmask] John Doe
(30,000 more adresses in here)
/*
I broke it up into 4 jobs, sent via email.
my listserv log has been doing this for about 2 hours now :
File size Usage Flags File name
--------- ----- ----- ---------
6551k 1 U /export/home/listserv/home/freebeeb.list
*** FIO file cache now totals 6551k. A list of cached files follows. ***

The SUN box is maxed out, (E3000)
Have I screwed it up ? It seems to be too busy to respond right now.
Was the method I used the best one, or should I have used the ADD WITHOUT
KILLING LISTSERV command ?
TIA,
Damon.
